Chatham Islands Airport – Operational Management

The Chatham Islands Airport Limited is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals and/or organisations to undertake the management and delivery of Airport Operations and Maintenance activities.

The Chatham Islands Airport Limited is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals and/or organisations to undertake the management and delivery of Airport Operations and Maintenance activities.

The Airport is a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Part 139 Certificated Airport nearing the completion of a 480- metre extension to its existing 1360 metre runway. This extension will allow the operation of Code 4C aircraft and with that will come increased levels of security, enhanced terminal facilities and more detailed and hands on management of operational activities and maintenance.

The decision around employment or contract will depend on the scope of abilities provided by those registering however it is envisaged that all personnel involved will be required to meet CAA Senior Person requirements and fill the role of Airport Chief Executive as required under CAA Rule Part 139.

Those registering should include in their registration a one-page brief outline of their relevant experience and, in the case of an organisation, provide detail of personnel including qualifications held.
